CASTLE COVE
A hard working, environmentally conscious executive engaged Robyn McKegg, Senior Designer to inject a contemporary update to a tired kitchen and master suite. This home is nestled in the hills of Castle cove complete with water and valley views.
Robyn was briefed to open a connection with the home to the environment and create a space for outdoor living and entertaining. With low maintenance as a priority, the finishes in the fabrics, surfaces, joinery, tiles and flooring all had to be easy to care for.
The timber flooring is a stand out and withstands the pitter patter of 3 tiny pets, flowing into a naturally tiled outdoor living area that can be used all year round thanks to the outdoor fireplace.
The bespoke joinery was considered down to every minute detail. Special drawers and viewing areas for the coveted collection of designer bags and shoes was pride of place in the master bedroom, which features a bedhead created of organic shapes and lux velvets to balance the opulent mood.
